Path and step lighting is the first thing I look at when designing a lighting system.\u00a0 Safety is and should always be the first concern.\u00a0 The question is, how do we do it in order to bring attention to the path or change in elevation, or steps without being distracted by the source of light?
\nI find that too many people use fixtures that cause a lot of glare (this is when you see the source of the light). \u00a0The pagoda light is the most common fixture used for walkway lighting.<\/p>\n
