Our Landscape Lighting Design Services Go Everywhere
The heart of our business is in central Texas – which is a pretty wide area considering the size of our state. We are asked a lot how far we will go to install a lighting system. The answer really is: anywhere. Our primary landscape lighting design services area is a 100-mile radius of our office in Kingsland, Texas which includes all of Austin (Travis County) and even northern parts of San Antonio, but we also have projects in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas of Texas.
We are located in the extended resort vicinity of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, on Lake LBJ. There are a lot of “second homes” here that are owned by people who primarily live in big cities like Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston, as well as other parts of the country like Colorado, Minnesota, and California. These nice people will hire us to add lighting to their “lake home” and, before too long, they want us to come to their primary home to do the same thing. And we are very happy to provide our landscape lighting design services there too.
If we have to travel to other states, there sometimes could be a minor issue with proper state licensing; but it can be easily overcome. We simply do all of the design work at our home office, and then find a qualified company, local to the homeowner, to actually install the system while we supervise the whole project. This way the system is guaranteed to look and perform to our standards, while also having a local contractor available to maintain the system in the future. Of course, here in Texas we would take care of nearly everything ourselves, but may also bring in a more local company to work with us so they can take care of general maintenance after the installation.
We are currently looking at an undertaking in New Orleans, and have consulted on projects all over the country. We have also advised on designs in Mexico and Canada, and other parts of the world. Frequently those consultations are done via the internet, which is always a good start for far away jobs. It is amazing that we now have the technology to virtually take us to the very home we are designing for without leaving the office! For our crews to actually travel long distances, the homeowner naturally understands that those travel expenses are included in the total proposed expense. We also hope that client considers this extra expense a necessary investment in the overall outcome of the project. Needless to say, if you live on a Caribbean island somewhere, we’ll put you on the top of our list!
If you are interested in the investment of a quality low voltage LED outdoor lighting system and would like us to travel to your location, please contact us here and we’ll set it all up.
