Each time we contract a project we like to know why the client chose us over other lighting companies submitting a proposal or contractors they may have spoken to about their landscape lighting. I recently posed this question to a new Austin area client and they explained why NightScenes seemed to be the best fit for them. The most important reason, she said, was that our company was able to include all of the extra work necessary into the proposal, and coordinate the additional sub-contractors that were needed to complete the project as proposed.
Outdoor lighting projects, to be done well, may have to include a mason, an electrician, a painter, or maybe even a plumber. When the client has to call each of these professionals themselves asking for individual proposals, then each one of them has to contact us anyway to get the details for the project before preparing an accurate bid. It just creates a major nightmare for our client and, most of the time a nightmare for us too, to be quite honest. It’s much easier for us to get together with all of the tradesmen ourselves, go over the project with them, and then work it all into the same proposal package.
So, you could say that we are a company that saves our clients some headaches. You might even say we’re actually in the mental health business. And, no, we don’t charge extra for that!
